A practical guide to the first days after your X-Films tint installation.
Keep the installer’s instructions close
Your installing shop should explain how to care for the selected film. Keep those instructions with your warranty details, and contact the shop if something does not look right. Follow any specific guidance given for your vehicle.
Give your windows time before rolling them down
The X-Films tint aftercare guide recommends keeping the windows closed for the first 3–4 days. Plan ahead for parking gates and other stops where you usually lower a window.
Treat the glass gently
For the first 3–4 days, the X-Films guide says to keep pressurized water away from the glass and weather strips. Ask your installer how to resume your usual cleaning routine and how to clean the film safely.
Know where to raise a concern
Contact the installing shop about any concern instead of trying to peel or repair the film yourself. Keep photos and your installation details ready so the team can review the issue. Product warranty terms and workmanship coverage should be checked with your installer.
